Service Description

In this course, participants will learn to restore implants digitally with the CEREC workflow. From simple single unit cases to multiple units including bridges and full arches. This course will allow participants to leverage their CEREC system to provide excellent care for implant patients whilst also increasing return on investment by keeping production in house for what can be an otherwise expensive laboratory procedure. This course covers: · Scanning single unit and techniques for efficient full arch scans · Software design for implant crowns, from screw retained to cement retained · How to split designs and manufacture custom abutments and the associated crown · Understanding the implant components required for the implant workflow · Material selection for CEREC implant restorations · Use of and treatment of Ti bases un CEREC implant restorations · Indications of screw retained vs cement retained with custom abutments · Refining, finishing, polishing of CERC implant restorations · Staining and glazing of CEREC implant restorations · Assembly of the components of CEREC implant restorations · Insertion of the implant supported restoration, from simple screw retained single units to custom abutments, implant bridge and full arch prosthetics · Use of the Atlantis workflow in custom abutment manufacturing and core files for in office production to complex multiple unit bridges · AoX cases using Atlantis frameworks, Scans, design, manufacture, finishing and insertion This module will assume knowledge of Module 1 workflows and strategies.
