Learn to efficiently prep, scan, design, mill, finish and insert indirect posterior ceramic restorations using CEREC. A systematic teaching approach including the designing of any posteiror restorations in less than 5 minutes. The course covers: · Case selection and treatment planning for CEREC indirect restorations in the posterior · Prep design principals for crowns, onlays, crownlays, and inlays · Understanding and mastering the CEREC software · Efficient protocols for software design · Over margination, in the management of deep margins · Articulation tool and OVD increasing cases · Restorations around partial dentures · Milling considerations · Material selection and properties – which block to choose for which case · Finishing, refining and polishing · Staining and glazing · Bonding and cementation workflows · Time management · How to produce work as good as, if not better than, an outside lab can produce · ‘Selling’ indirect work to your patients – how to effectively communicate the benefits of indirect restorations This 2 day course comprises of hands-on learning in the simulation lab, and lectures with CEREC software exercises.
